TIPS for Building a budget PC rig (300-400$)

Ok. You could wait for AMD to release their R3 CPUs in the second half of this year and you could save some money until then.

Otherwise the best build would be:

- cheapest 4GB DDR4 ram stick

- G4560 (it is way cheaper then the G4600 where I live and the performance difference shouldn't be that big so the G4560 is probably the better choise for you)

- cheap B250 board

- tier 3 or maybe tier 4 PSU from the tier list

- 120GB SSD or a HDD

Main PC:

Ryzen 5 1600 3.8GHz - RX 570 4GB - 2x8GB DDR4 - ASUS Prime X370-Pro - Shadow Rock 2 - Define S - Seasonic Prime Gold 650W

500GB NVME SSD - 1TB SATA SSD - 1TB HDD - Windows 10 Pro

Dorm PC:

i5 4590 - GTX 960 4GB - 2x4GB DDR3 - ASUS H81M2 - Dark Rock 3 - Define R3 - 250GB SATA SSD - Seasonic S12 430W - Windows 10 Pro - Linux Mint

NAS:

Pentium G4400 - 4GB DDR4 - Fujitsu Esprimo P556 - 250GB SATA SSD - 2 x 4TB NAS HDD - 12V PSU - OpenMediaVault

Laptop:

Dell Latitude E6520 - i5 2430M - 2x4GB DDR3 - 250GB SATA SSD - Windows 10 Pro - Linux Mint

Oh you never mentioned that you want to buy a 1050TI. The price to performance ration of this card isn't that great. And getting the 6400 isn't worth it since you could get the AMD Ryzen 5 1400 for a similar price.

Now the thing with the GPU is:

With the G4560 or the i5 6400 you have an integrated graphics processor in the CPU. These aren't great for gaming but you will have an image on you screen. So you can use the System without a dedicated graphics card. These processors need a 1151 socket.

With the Ryzen 5 1400 you don't have an integrated graphics processor in the CPU. So this means that you have to buy a dedicated graphics card if you want to use this processor. This processor needs a AM4 socket.

You can check out the GTX 1050 and the RX 460/560 GPUs.

Other thing i wanted to ask

i found a Mainboard Gigabyte B250M-Gaming 3

and it support 2133/2400 MHz bus , yet in the memory info : "* To support 2400 MHz or XMP memory, you must install a 7th generation processor." said Gigabyte

But the
Intel Pentium 4600 said on Intel ark that it would supports

DDR4-2133/2400, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.35V

So will this main will be compatible on running 2400Bus RAM with 4600?

You could buy a H110 board but then you have to pay for a bios update since you need a skylake cpu for it. And buying a skylake Pentium isn't worth it.

Woh.... B250 was twice the price .... I afraid that i dont have enough :(

Most H110 boards don't even have a BIOS that exists to support Kaby Lake. You want to start at B250 to be safe.

The B250 socket is not compatible with the Haswell Platform. You need a Skylake or Kaby Lake and not Haswell series of chips.

Why are you talking about Haswell? The G4600 is a Kaby Lake chip but it is not worth its price compared to the G4560.

This motherboard will support the G4560 and don't think too much about RAM, just get the cheapest single DDR4 stick you can buy so you can upgrade to 8GB without filling all 4 slots. (Just don't buy small sticks which are usually used for laptops).

And get the G4560 unless it costs about the same as the G4600. The G4560 would be perfect for your budget.

If i wanted to use for light-medium graphic designs , which processor should i choose for the 400$ budget of a full rig ?

I messed up, got the HD graphics series mixed up with Intel's architecture names....
