i have a really cheap toy car that has a really cheap 27 mhz transmitter on it with a signal wire soldered to the motherboard of the car. is there any way i could get an fs-ia6 on it? if its just the signal wire shouldnt i be able to get something hooked up or no? i know that the reciever there is not the same as the fs-ia6 but i just wanted to know if it was possible. thanks!

I had a toy hummer from radio shack when I was younger. The radio stopped working and so I bought a brushed ESC and a servo in order to replace the electronics for common radio controlled parts. You can try and do that if you want to.

Unless it's a hobby grade RC car with an independent receiver, no you can't.

Hobby cards don't have a main PCB, they have multiple separate replaceable components.

Cheap toy cars don't have replaceable radio systems.

Even if it is just one wire connected to a receiver, yes you can.

Not in this case though, his cheap car doesn't have an independent receiver.
