Help!? Gaming/3D Modelling Build

I would greatly appreciate any help I could receive! Thanks in advance :)

This is my first time building a PC. It's mainly intended for gaming, but also for 3D modelling - if possible.

I currently own a Alienware X51 R2, I'm willing to use some of the parts, I've upgraded the graphics card to a GeForce GTX 960. I have a BenQ XL2720Z 144HZ 1080p monitor and Cintiq 21UX. I have speakers, mouse and a keyboard aswell as a WI-FI adaptor. My budget is in GBP - £. I can spend up to £1000 but would like to spend less.

I want it to last a while so I'm adamant about investing in the best CPU and motherboard and a SDD - I think that's the right thing to do? I want a simplistic case in only black if possible.

Here is my current PCPARTPICKER - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/KH6Rbj
