Then get an ssd if you want a faster system, the sshd only has like 8 gb electronic storage, it's not much faster

get a 7200RPM 1TB drive, it's gonna be night and day difference from the 5400RPM drive, and for the most part within margin of what the firecuda can do, and offcourse much cheaper than an SSD ;)

I have a 1Tb SSHD. No faster than normally HDD. Get a faster hard disk. Or invest in an SSD. For HDD, anything Seagate or WD will work. For SSD, Id recommend a Samsung 950 Evo or something around that.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Honestly you're overpaying for it. You don't need anything past a good MLC SSD or a 850 evo.

Good catch. I actually met the 850 Evo. Which can be had for under $200 USD for 500 Gigs. When I come in to some money thats what Im going to be upgrading my laptop with.

For hard drives I have had good luck with Seagate, but from what I read, they have a higher failure rate.

Honestly if your looking for a hard drive any thing 7200rpm hard disk would be good. The only issue, is most laptops have 5400 rpm drives. So if your upgrade to a faster hard disk, you might reduce battery life. As far as models go, Just go with one that has good reviews.

Ok thx, but it's very hard to find a 7200rpm that is 7mm?

The Firecuda SSHD usually delivers delivers up to 5x faster load times by using the flash-accelerated technology. Regular write access is comparable to standard HDDs. Without ripping a hole in your wallet, it should significantly increase your read speeds though...
