What is AMD Ryzen 7 1800 Pro

AMD have a weird naming scheme, where the PRO means it's less powerful than the fully unlocked chip. For example, Hawaii XT was the R9 290X, whereas Hawaii Pro was the R9 290.

On AMD Ryzen CPU list under the 1800x there is 1800 Pro

What could this be?

Would it be more powerful than 1800x?

I don't think it exists (yet) it wasn't launched at the event, so don't worry about it yet.

For what is worth WHAT Tech company doesn't have messed up naming schemes xD

Thank you. I noticed that there is no basic 1800 like 1700 instead of 1700x so it must be 1800 without XFR

I'm a little late, but it looks like the 1800 PRO has a TDP of 65 W as opposed to 95 W, similar to the 8370 vs the 8370e from the AM3+ platform.
