Can you replace the optical disk drive with a hard drive on the Lenovo E520 laptop?

Since disk drives are pretty much obsolete as of now, I want to replace my disk drive with a hard drive on my laptop. Is it possible on my Lenovo E520 laptop model?

Make sure you only use slim 2.5" drives, or you won't be able to properly close the caddy and insert it in the slot.
