ASUS MG279Q or ASUS MX27AQ?

I was looking at getting a 60hz 1440p monitor from ASUS for $649AUD but I found a 120hz 1440p monitor for $795AUD. I mostly play RPGs and strategy games and occasionally I will play fps like CSGO and Battlefield one (with a GTX 1080). Is the extra money worth the price or should I just buy the cheaper one and see how far I can overlock it?
