Samsung LC24FG70FQUXEN or Asus VG248QE

Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a new gaming monitor for under £500 and I found these two.  Both seem great (in my opinion) but I'm not sure which would be best.  If you have any other suggestions then please let me know, I would prefer one which is 144hz, lowest response time possible and to have G-Sync (as I have a GTX 970).

Thanks :)

-Update-

I ended up going for the Dell S2716DG 2K, 144hz, G-Sync monitor. So far so good. Only problem was the price of it seems to be rising quickly, it went up nearly £60 in less than 2 weeks. If you are in the UK, PC World currently have it for £499, over £100 cheaper than anywhere else I could see.

Neither of the monitors you put have gsync

Go for the PG248Q or the Dell S2417DG

Thanks for the reply.

I had a look at them, they both seem good but I saw the 27 inch model and was wondering if you think it's worth the extra £100 to get that one instead of the 24 inch.

Is a TN LED monitor good?

I liked the idea of the Samsung having the curve so I was more towards that one of the two.

Aye, that and the VA vs TN panel makes it a much better choice.
