Over Ear headphone suggestions: $350-$450 with or without amp

Bradders
Go to solution Solved by spwath,

Bose qc25 for legendary noise canceling, Great comfort, and ok sound for the price.

that's your best option for noise canceling headphones.

Due to christmas I now have quite a bit of extra spending money. Now, about 6/8 months ago my beats stuido 2.0 broke ,and apple being apple said they would fix it....... If i paid 3/4 of the original price, So I am in need of a new pair for flying and daily use etc. Now i love good sound quality like many others and so I was thinking of something to use with a dac or amp? not essential.

main things are:

- Noise cancelling ( I want to use them for flights )

- Comfy, like really comfy (again same reason )

- largish ear cups ( I have big ears )

- Good Balance throughout sound wise but a little more favourable to the Bass.

- easy to pack and take around

- If wireless , good battery life

- SSUPD Meshlicous - Z170I - i7-6700K - Gigabyte 2080 - 16GB Corsair Vengance - 850 EVO 1TB - H115i ICUE Link- SF600

Some of the best headphones you can get at that price range are the Sennheiser HD650 which you could pair with the FiiO E10K and have yourself an excellent pair of cans for $450. :)

Id prefer something closed back ( for the noise cancelling ) as I will be taking them on plane journeys

I'd go with the 1000x, but whichever suits you the best choose it. Go to a headphone store and try them both!
