Asus Zenfone AR carriers?

The Asus Zenfone AR was announced at CES this year and I was wondering if anyone had any news as to what carriers the phone might show up on? I know Asus has their Zenpad Z8/10 tablets with Verizon and I was wondering if their kickass (spec-wise) phone will be hitting the red map? Google was not my friend in this search for information but if any of you lovely people know anything about it, let me know. Thanks in advance.

Has it even been announced for North America yet?

I wouldn't be surprised if it's not on a carrier at all. A lot of their phones you have to buy unlocked.

I like their version of the AR phone a lot more than Lenovos, though. It's actually a manageable size.

All I know is that it was announced at CES, so I could be jumping the gun. Oh well, thanks though.
