Please rate my gaming rig

astroboy89

Hi I am from India and am building a brand new gaming rig after 8 years..I am coming from a Core 2 Duo E8400, Radeon HD4770 9_9

Here's my build:

Intel  i5-6600k

Gigabyte Z170-D3H

Cooler Master Hyper 212X

Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming GTX 1070

Seagate Firecuda SSHD 2TB

Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB SSD

Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GBx2 2400Mhz

Seasonic S12II-620W

LG 24MP88HM (IPS and borderless...:x)

Antec GX505 (Personally I love its look!!)

I am gonna be gaming at 1080p 60 Hz ( This will increase the useful for keeping it GTX 1070 for the long run) at Ultra/High settings @ >=60 fps for the coming 4-5 years. This build may not seem much in USD but in INR (Indian Rupees) it is coming to around Rs 100000 which is me going above and beyond. I am not gonna overclocking early on but during the later stages. I wanted to know if GTX 1070 is good choice for upcoming DirectX 12 titles as I cant wait for whatever AMD Vega is offering. It will take probably another 6-8 months to reach India and the price will be way above GTX 1070.

Please rate my build and its compatibility and let me know if there is any incompatibility or problem with the build and if the SMPS is more than enough at full load.

Everything looks good, i'd recommend using a regular hdd and a cheap gtx 1070 rather than a gigabyte xtreme gaming though, see if you can fit in an i7 in there.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Avoid this, You Already have a proper Samsung 850 evo, just get a regular WD Black 1TB

You might want to give the Z170 Extreme a go, better motherboard if you want to overclock...

what is your budget in Rupees ?? ..... in India pc parts are quite expensive than U.S. so keep that in mind .... also i would suggest u to wait for zen cpu's, if you can for 1-2 months.
