Gigabyte G1 gaming vs Xtreme Gaming GTX 1070??

Please let me know which one of the above is better for the long run.

 

I saw that in comparison to the G1 gaming the Xtreme Gaming version due to its unique fan placement have provided a 8-9 C cooler at full load 

It is also very silent. It also provides an additional year of warranty after the usual 3 years.

Is it worth the extra money? 

 

I am pairing this with the i5-6600 and a Seasonic Sii-620W PSU.

Please suggest.

the 1070 is so fast, that in modern AAA titles the i5 6600K even struggels to keep up with the GTX 1070. You may pair the two, but in 2-3 years that CPU of yours will be bottlenecking the crap outta the 1070. Already, digital foundry has proven that the i5 6600k bottlenecks a 1070 by 5-10%

In my opinion it is not worth the extra money 

IF  you have ample airflow in the case 

It IS worth it if you are a super silence freak.

but in my opinion you should save the extra money and then wait for Zen and later in 2017 upgrade your CPU to remove the bottleneck from that 1070. Be it AMD or Intel 

wait untill Zen reviews are out and compare prices then
