Controller not working in forza horizon 3

Does anyone else have an issue with using an xbox 360 controller in forza horizon 3 on pc? I tried changing ports and restarting the game but no luck, and the game is unplayable on a keyboard imo.

No problems here.
I use ps4 controller which emulates an xbox 360 controller.
So would work out the same.

I take it it's working in other games?

Sorry for late reply but yes it works fine in gta 5 and skyrim

I use a wired 360 controller for PC FH3 no problem.

I use PS3 controller, and have no issues. Do you have the Xbox 360 controller app  from Microsoft?

no but I will try, what do you use for your emulator for the controller?

I use ScarlettCrush http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller

 

Much better than DS3Tool or Motionjoy. No adware, spyware, or any other fun attachments.

I have the same problem. I have an original Xbox 360 wireless controller, EVERY game can be played with it but FH3. What do I need to do to make it work?

I couldnt get it working so I ended up buying an xbox one controller off craigslist for $20
