Is 400W Safe Enough?

alanp1995

I bought a HP Z230 and the specs you can find below. I added the GPU myself. I'm just wondering should I upgrade the PSU or will it be okay to keep the 400W PSU?

CPU: Xeon E3-1225 V3

Motherboard: Whatever one is in the Z230.

Memory: 2x4GB DDR3

GPU: GTX 660Ti (Connected by 1 6-Pin and 1 Molex to 6-Pin)

PSU: 400W from the HP Z230

HDD: WD Blue

SSD: Toshiba Q300

It SHOULD suffice.. the 660ti doesnt consume that much power(150w)

Dunno anything about that PSU so I can't say if it can actually provide 400W. Might be best to get a better PSU sooner rather than later.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.
