Cheap gaming graphic card

ppj_101

So I want to buy a really cheap graphic card that will comfortably pull through 1080p at 100fps on CS:GO. Which is the cheapest I can get and if I were to buy the 950 which 950 would u guys recommend.

What are the rest of your specs? You could bottleneck the card ECT, anyways I'd get a used R9 380 for $140-$150

Maybe wait for the RX 480 coming out later this month. But if you want to go cheap you can just use an iGPU or maybe a GTX 750Ti/R9 270X.

Can your monitor run 100 fps ?? or is it 60 only ??  I would recomend a gtx 660/670 . Even an 940 should be fine I think.

Seriously though, a 950 can easily do what you're looking for, probably even a 750 Ti if you're willing to dial down the details. This is the cheapest 950 that my 60 seconds of searching found.

There is no point if you are running a 60Hz monitor as the maximum value it can utilise is 60FPS, I think an r9 270 is enough for what you are doing but you also got to take into account that CS:GO is CPU intensive.

Wait wait, you're saying nobody can get more than 60 fps on a 60 hz monitor?

Not sure if joking or trolling... but that's plain bs either way.

You can but after 60fps there is no point.

But the more fps the smoother your game afaik? And when getting fps drops you won't notice them

that's right, that's not bs.

fps is how many frames the gpu is outputting to the monitor

60hz is how many times the screen refreshes itself

so a 60hz monitor only displays upto 60fps. with more fps, you might begin to see tearing
