will i be able to use a 1440p with my specs?

SeeFights

I use 2x 960's and an FX-8350 and I was wondering if I could play games on a 1440p monitor?

yes, but only if the game is optimized for SLI. but you may run out of VRAM as you only have 2GB...

edit. unless you have the 4gb GTX 960's then VRAM will be an issue

You should be able to, you might not get 60FPS ultra in every game, but you should be able to play games at high settings. It also depends on what games you want to play

As long as there is good sli scaling you will be fine. 960 sli would be a bit faster than my 780ti and my card isnt bad if I dont try and max everything at 1440p.

oh, then yeah you should be good it terms of VRAM but if the Game isn't SLI optimized then you might have some trouble ruining them...but that all depends on what games you are playing...if your just playing moba's, wow, CSGO you are good to go for 1440p

Edit again: i forgot how powerful the 960s are...yeah you should be fine at 1440p.

If its ips then go for it. I would not bother with tn unless its a high refresh rate because the colors are pretty washed out.

its not going to be great, but you can do it yea.

To give you an idea, I ran a 1440p monitor off of a 270X for a while there, and that card is about as fast, if not a little slower than a single 960. Now, I had to run pretty much everything on low, and my fps was around 30-50, but certainly playable.
