HP iPAQ Review

Djole123

So, the other day, I was searching for some cables in my cable box. While I did found what I need, I also found something quite old. It's the iPAQ.

For ones that can't recall, an iPAQ (not to be confused with an iPad) is a PDA, which means it runs Windows Mobile and can browse the internet, check e-mail etc. Basically, a smartphone without a phone.

In my case, this iPAQ is a sat nav, it runs Windows Mobile 5, has Bluetooth, doesn't have WiFi, and that's pretty much it.

I can't recall what the screen is, but it is kinda big with low DPI, it's touchscreen, comes with a stylus and needs to be recalibrated once in a while.

Battery is not quite good, but, it's mainly an issue of not using it very often, so not a big deal.

It has a full sized SD card slot, which is good.

Overall, the HP iPAQ is a solid device. While in most cases it has been surpassed by a smartphone, it still has a place in my heart, and in my car.
