iOS 7 bug enables user to bypass lockscreen

Oh no a bug to bypass a lockscreen :o, what did apple screw up on IOS again!

The moment operating systems become available to the public is also the moment millions of people have the opportunity to hunt around and find bugs. And, it appears that at least one rather critical bug has already been discovered in iOS 7. A keen-eyed user found a way to bypass the passcode-protected lockscreen and gain access to the device's photos app, giving him the ability to hijack the email or social network account associated with that device. Essentially, you access the alarm clock through Control Center, make your way into the multitasking menu and head into the camera app from there. We've embedded the video evidence below, just in case you're interested in trying it out for yourself; we tested it out using an iPhone 5s running iOS 7.0.1, and were able to duplicate the user's claims.

Usually the first update for a completely new software is buggy and you would have for the next release in order to fix most of the bugs and issues. Usually can't resist though if a new software is released because I want to try out the new features and see the improvements. :)

Apple, come on. You guys really should have worked this out by now. Have all of the numerous ways to get passed the lockscreen on an iPhone not taught you guys to fix this problem yet? Really?

It's a new lock screen to be fair. They have a tendency to rush iOS even though they push back Mac OS to focus on iOS.

iOS 7 looks a lot more like Android if you ask me. Transparency, soft screen changing and on/off, "smooth" animations, general minimalistic styling = Android, kinda. But it is rather pointless to compare Apples to Robots (lawl)

They have always had lockscreen bugs. You think they would focus on squashing them before release...

Apple just released its latest operating system yesterday -- iOS 7 -- and as expected with new releases, users are finding bugs. The most recent find allows anyone to bypass an iPhone user's lockscreen and access their photos, Twitter, email and more.

Heh. I tried this on my friend's phone. Lets just say they weren't impressed. And their response was "But I don't care if someone got onto my phone! I wouldn't give it to anyone."

Theft on the other hand doesn't ask to go on your phone.
