4 monitor setup with budget AMD card?

I'm building a computer for a coworker and he has a tight budget. He wants to be able to run his electrical engineering programs on 4 monitors. I don't have the names of the programs. I was looking for a card around $100. I came across the Asus R7 360 on Newegg for $110 but someone told me that card can only run 2 monitors. Can someone help me out with this?

If he has integrated graphics that will handle 2 monitors

Also go for a 265 its a bit cheaper and more alike to the 370

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

It definitely costs more, but a GTX 950 would be a far better choice because it can run FOUR 4K monitors at 60Hz if needed thanks to its updated HDMI port and Display Port connections.  I think this would be the better choice period and can prevent buying another card in the future just for 4K.

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

Sadly the 950 retails for 125-150 dollars

Yeah, but I think it would be worth not having to buy a new card if 4K is ever needed.

I was looking at the 950 because I was able to find a very clear answer that it could run 4 monitors. I was just struggling to get a straight answer for AMD cards.

He has zero interest in gaming or in 4k and I don't want to overbuild and bust his budget.

Don't if you realize what you're saying.

A card at this tier for running 4K?

If someone had multiple 4K monitors he wouldn't be looking at a 950.

It would only be crazy if he were gaming.  My dad already uses 3 4Ks on his GTX 960 for work purposes and I've installed two 4Ks on my Grandpa's 950.
There is no GPU that can run those 4 4Ks in gaming except for the oldest of games also.

Again, he has zero interest in 4k monitors. This would be 4 1080 monitors.

Adding a display port splitter and an active adapter or two already would make the 360 or 265 cost more than the 950.

This guy chooses AMD.

Good decision.

He has the perfect card, no need for Nvidia.

This guy is choosing:

- Stable Drivers.

- Better performance for your money.

- Better community.

Haven't always made good decisions, I bought a 970 over a 390...

Everybody makes mistakes.

Like the guy I'm building this computer for. He has his whole budget in a i7-5820k and X99 mobo. Which, has no onboard video. So I'm back to splitting the display port on the AMD card or convincing him to buy a 950. He didn't sound interested in used parts, but maybe I could get him to buy my old 660. The customer is always right...

No integrated graphics... He "NEEDS" an i7-5820K on a X99 board.

:/ The 360 should be able to support 4 monitors natively if you use 2 dvi monitors a HDMI monitor and a DP monitor

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Should seems to be the best answer I can find. I even tried contacted a couple manufacturers and did not get an answer. Thank you for your help. I think I'll try it, if it doesn't work I'll get to use Neweggs return service for the first time, yay. haha
