Did you try to reset the cmos? (removing the CMOS battery)

You might need to open the casing for that.

I found a picture of the mainboard (check if its the right one) and marked you the CMOS battery: http://imgur.com/a/0o9CF

Hi

 

I bought a used Medion Erazer X7813, and it won't boot. It gets a PXE-E61 (media test error) error, saying the there are no bootable media detected.

I tried using multiple hard drives and a SSD all from working machines, including the HDD that came with it (which spins up just fine on a different PC) but the problem is still there.

I've tried bootable USB drives and DVDs but to no fix either.

There are no mobo speaker sounds when it boots either.

I tried getting into the BIOS to figure out if the drives were detected at all, but to no avail, as I can't figure out how to get into the BIOS. I've tried everything, all the F keys, Del, Ins, etc.

The seller claims it worked before he shipped it, and for the price I paid I doubt I could get a laptop even close in specs to it again.

I'm guessing it's a motherboard fault, which would mean it would not be economical to replace.

Do you guys have any ideas?
