How much cheaper is the 2.0 dongle? I would say go at least 3.0 because 4 is relatively new, and most things were made on 3.

Surprisingly enough i cant find a 3.0 one only 2.0,2.1 and 4.0,and the 2.0 one is way cheaper

Bluetooth 4 is backwards compatible with all previous versions.

You are better off buying version 4.2 (most current version).

The only Bluetooth that is not compatible is LE and some Android proprietary bands.
