What I believe you're referring to is 4k at 30Hz. HDMI 1.4a can easily do 1080p60fps. Take a look at the table on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI#Version_comparison

You're good to go stream 1080p60fps on this thing.

Processor: 2Ghz Intel Core i7

Memory: 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Wait, so should I upgrade the wifi card, if so, how. Does the wifi card affect my ping in online games?

Mr. Linus, do you have any way to clean this laptop? The fingerprints are bothering me. I saw a video in your channel on how clean the fingerprints, but that's for brushed aluminum. Will it also work for this unit? TIA.

Seems to be a perfect option. I'm just not convinced about the sata drive. Do you recommend any specific ssd? (fast and with 1tb preferably)

How is the fps on games and has anyone rendered 1080 video on this and how long did it take. I am looking for a backpack laptop for college and for video tutorials/lite video editing.

 

I use sony vegas, camtasia and Resolve. 1080 video. Also can it play newish games with a steady 30+ fps.
