Cannot RDP to server

Hey guys

so i recently setup a vpn server on my windows server 2008 R2 server and i cannot seem to be able to remote desktop to it anymore. as soon as i disable the service, i can remote again. i also cannot see it in my network on my windows 7 machine when the vpn is running. the vpn network itself works fine.

i am new to server 2008 and i have a feeling i need to route it though the "routing and remote access" service........ or somthing.

any help would be great thanks.

Hi,

Routing is the problem. When you start up the service, The server doesn't have access to the internet?Right?  You can't then see it from outside of ur network as well?
