Than open it in Avidemux select mp4 in the drop down menu on the left and save the file.

I have .flv files I want to change to.mp4 files. Can some one please help me. Thanks

I am not sure if I said the exact name of the type of file.

You just want to change the container or do you want to change the codec and recompress too?
