Budget Strapped Monitor

Hey!

I am going to build a gaming pc for $500. Its gonna be for gaming, after light-medium, web browsing, benchmarks, youtube videos. I need a monitor 1080p monitor below $150 (below $100 may work too but I dont see any good quality monitors below $100). It has to have AMAZING bang for buck but not go above my budget. I have been looking for weeks but cant find one so I turned to the forum cause I know they will help me out. If you guys can help I will start a thread for budget gaming monitors and help more people there! any information on the monitor will be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Sribeast21

Heaving gaming? Don't think you're going to do as well as you want for "heavy gaming" for 500 dollars.

Anyway, just get any LED Acer/ASUS/Samsung/LG/Hannspree/Dell with decent contrast ratio and response time.

However if you're serious about after effects you might want an IPS panel.

I think you meant: "I am going to build a gaming pc for $500. Its NOT gonna be for some pretty heavy gaming, after effects, BUT RATHER FOR web browsing, benchmarks, youtube videos."

Here are your choices:

There is no 1080p monitor for 100$. Not new anyways. Have a look on eBay for a used monitor which you can hope is fine, or classified service.

You could get an APU and then upgrade when you have enough money to buy a GPU. The APU isn't going to run much but it's good enough.
