You can't even compare the hd 7870 to the gtx 760. An alternative is the hd 7950. It is slower than the gtx 760 at stock but once you overclock it will surpass it. You also get 4 free games.

Yeah, This is not a good comparison. A 760 and a 7870 are not in the same tier. I currently have A 7950 and I love it but that EVGA 760 looks very appealing. Also, You get the never settle reloaded bundle with a 7950.

The 760 is faster but you should be going for the 7950.

That is true. but say you are already looking for games to play with your graphics card, the 7950 would be perfect. but if we are strictly looking at graphics cards, I would go with the 760 for sure.

Just to make it clear, the 7950 is faster than the 760 a lot faster when both are clocked similarly, but you can get higher clocks on the 7950 because the voltage is unlocked on it, so the performance advantage extends even more.

Sapphire HD7870 XT w/Boost is cheaper and it perform as good as 760 once overclock.

That's actually false. The 7870 can be found around $200-$210 while the 760 isn't going to dip below $250 anytime soon.

i have a budget of like 270$ and the 7950 card is a little to much for me to be paying for, i watched linuses video on the 670 and it seems it does preform much better than most cards in my budget

What Linus didn't show you is how beast a 7870 XT when overclocked.

Right, the 7950 dipped to almost $250 recently. I confused the cards.

If you find a 7950 at a good price, it would outperform the 760
