Speed Fan doesn't control fans

QwasJ

Hi guys,

I just set up Speed Fan, set desired temps and warning temps for my components, assigned PWM headers to different temps, etc.

And it seems to work fine, Speed Fan adapts the PWM signal to the temperature of my components, so far so good.

The problem is now, that although Speed Fan says it adjusted the PWM, the fans speed doesn't change.

I tried different profiles in my BIOS for the BIOS fan controller, I turned the BIOS fan controller off, but I didn't manage to get Speed Fan adjusting the fan speeds.

I use PWM fans on the PWM headers, a gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H motherboard. Jut ask if you need any more info.

Thank you for any help :)

Edit: I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit

If you are talking about the programs SpeedFan, don't use it. It's just buggy stuff that doesn't work.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

Lol just cause you dont know how to set it up, doesnt mean it dont work

Hold up give me 5 and ill tell you

Alright go to Configure then advanced.

Under chip, select the different ones until you find one that says PWM and all,

Then you can change PWM1 etc to manual if you want manual or the other modes but i have not tinkered too much with it, if you do this you will be able to control the fans and set them up how you want. Google it for more info but if you set it right it does work

I'm working my way into this right now :D It is quiet complex, but it lets you always do what you want, no limitations
