desktop bluetooth speaker

so I watch youtube on my tablet a lot (nexus 7 (2013)) and have things up on my desktop screens id like to stream the sound from my tablet to my desktop and spit it out the speakers over bluetooth but I cant find a way to do this on Linux mint 17.

Why not? Search on eBay for USB Bluetooth Music Receiver. Plug it in a USB port of the PC, plug the 3.5mm for the speakers into the stick and you have a BT compatible system for less than 5 dollars.

You can use a splitter if you still want to keep the connection to your PC.

Just an advice though, get one that's kinda mediocre, don't get the cheapest one you can find.

 

Freshly happened to me. Bought one from ebay. Because I've never seen any of these thing (bluetooth music receiver), I thought I'd just go with cheaper one. Well, it does the job, but the sound is absolutely atrocious....
