Decent 140mm Case Fans?

Hello,

I am getting a new side panel for my HAF XM from Cooler Master (they are offering it for me) that has two 140mm Fan Slots which I will utilise.

Before going further, the thing you need to know about me is that I really do not care about noise. At the moment I got 5 of Jetflo 120mm case fans which push a lot of air but very loud.

Despite of this I am very impressed by how much air it pushes for just a small 120mm fan (95 CFM). But because I can now add 140mm (not 120mm) I want to know some 140mm fans that can match or outperform the 120mm Jetflo that I possess. Ofcourse it shouldn't be as loud as a jet-engine or vacuum, as long it is reasonable for the performance just like my Cooler Master Jetflos.

After some searching, 140mm fans are not as popular and crowded as 120mm's and many of them are old and generic. The only decent ones are from Noctua but they are expensive such as the NF-A12:

http://www.umart.com.au/umart1/pro/Products-details.phtml?id=&id2=228&bid=&sid=195490

The NF-A12 at 3000RPM is the only one that outperforms the Jetflo in terms of CFM and Air Pressure.

Are there other decent 140mm fans I missed? May you please help me search for one at http://www.umart.com.au/umart1/pro/Products_list.phtml?id=10&bid=2&id2=228

Thanks!

Ah yes they have a 3-Pack only for $30 http://www.umart.com.au/umart1/pro/Products-details.phtml?id=&id2=227&bid=&sid=97296

Good value but will it really "push" air into the case as good as the Jetflo?

I would have suggested Be Quiet fans but not listed, also not a good selection. Go with either Corsair for value or Noctua for performance.

Oh also the fans needs to have a cable length of 200mm because my case cooler max height is something like 190mm so the fan cable needs to be able to attach into the motherboard ofcourse...

If not, I do have some molex fan adapters lying around.

The closest one to the 120mm Jetflo is the Bitfenix 140mm Spectre Pro with a CFM of 85 as oppose to Jetflo's 95.

Is this recommend? Corsair don't even go up to 70 and Noctua too expensive.

Get spectre pro, they are the best value for money and not loud.

Cool.

I am also interested in this fan

Any thoughts? I am using it primarily for my case not for CPU cooling.

Yes, they perform great, at least that's what I've read on the internet. You might also want to take a look at Silverstone Air Penetrator fans. Not sure if they have them in 140mm sizes though, but those are awesome fans.

Bitfenix Spectre Pro or Corsair AF140 are quite good fans for the money.

Spectre Pros are ass, regular Spectres are the way to go unless you are deaf or really like the sound of a train passing by 24/7.

aerocool dead silence fans have kind of killed BitFenix spectres though, I'd recommend them much more highly. Everything about them are better.

@PlayModeOn : I religiously use Silverstone Air Penetrators in any 180mm use case, and I love them. They are my go-to bottom mounted fan. Never tried their smaller fans but they should be good as well.

Get spectre pro, they are the best value for money and not loud.

I wonder if people recommending these fans are confusing the pro and non-pro versions, if they don't have a point of comparison as to what silence is, are trolling or just unknowledgeable.

To reiterate: Spectre Pro fans are M U C H louder than regular spectres!

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Like I said I don't care about the noise because I use headphones.

The Spectre Pro PWM non-LED 140mm is rated at 1800RPM and 122CFM which is higher than my Jetflo so it is a must buy for me.

http://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/accessories/spectre-pro-pwm

The Spectre Pro LED version is only 1200RPM, the non-LED allows up to 1800RPM therefore can push a lot of air than Aerocool.

Can you then name me another fan that has a CFM of 120 or better?

Also I forgot to mention that the Aerocool fans only goes up to 65 CFM.

Again, I do not care about noise or look as long it is higher than 95 CFM and is 140mm.
