i play on 800dpi because i just can't use 450dpi on a 1080p monitor. dpi sens combo is what matters you can play with 3600dpi and 0.5 sens or smth.

Most competitive players use 4000dpi+ with really low sensitivity

Like Ryan Leech said also I've known a few people to do the opposite low DPI with high sensitivity. Again though it's all personal preference it's something the guys at Curse have covered on a youtube video as well. It'll just take time so change to a DPI you wanna try and then adjust the sensitivity in the shooting range do 360s 180s quick shots whatever until you are comfortable with both then play against bots until you fine tune it. It'll take a while so don't just give up after 10 mins you gotta get comfortable with it try it for a good hour or so making changes then keep trying then use

Ive seen pro players use all kinds of the DPI in CSGO but they all resulted in a low sensitivity.

If you want to know which sensitivity you need when you change your DPI to have the same equivalent sensitivity, check this website out : http://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/

IDK, I use 2500 DPI raw input and then scale it with the in-game sensitivity to 3.4.

I have a corsair m65 and use a DPI of 800 with a sensitivity of 4. I've tried to emulate what competitive players use, but it throws me off way too much. Bottom line, stick to what is best for you, everyone is different

It's personal. Start by putting your Windows mouse cursor speed at 6 / 11 and turning off the Enhanced Precision. Then go to your mouse's software and adjust the DPI to as low as you can while still being comfortable with it. Finally, adjust in-game sensitivity if needed.

so wait I know this is somewhat unrelated to CSGO but related to DPI/sensitivity. When I have 1800 dpi on my mouse and play at 20% sensitivity, does that mean i play at 360 dpi?

There is no "best sensitivity" It's whatever you feel comfortable with, I play at 450 dpi and 1.8 sens, just try snapping to angles and trying to track movement of things and change your sens as you go to find yours
