FTTN vs DSL vs Cable vs Dial-up

LOST TALE

please elude my ignorace.

In terms of latency how do they compare?

What is the one that comes by a TV cable and is converted in the modem? cable

So my ISP has recently trashed net neutrality and privacy.

LTT takes 1 minute to load.

While they always respected minimum speeds and gave pings of 1ms.

it changed, so fuck it. im considering other ISPs such as this linked one.

You sure? I doubt it. Especially with Stephen Harper

Videotron, Excellent reliability till recent times. The CEO is already bullshiting net neutrality in the news.

And I'm not sure if it passed or not. The law on gathering informaiton at will.

You are trolling.

I'm pretty sure dial-up is like the satelite thing.

Yes I'm trolling but you did put it in the title.

PS dial-up uses phone lines and is 56Kb

This is the mark solved post.

FTTN:Answered

DSL  :Answered

Cable:Answered

Cable is the one that uses the TV cable.

DSL uses phone line but unlike dial-up it can go up to 7mbps up and 1mbps down.

FTTN is Fiber to the node, Which uses fibre optic to a neighbourhood box then copper to your home.
