affordable GPU for rendering and 3d modeling

Hello friends

I was planning to build a midrange workstation for animation and rendering

I know the basics of parts but i don't dence of clocking, overclocking,RAM timing, voltage and more.

i have searched a bit of workstation for 3d and 4K rendering and thought to get with this configuration-

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

Storage: Western Digital Blue SN550 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive

Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

still i am unable to find a perfect mid-range gpu, motherboard, and power supply

i was looking for GeForce GPU but the rtx 2070 and greater are beyond my budget

if anyone knows the perfect affordable gpu for rendering please suggest

evga 2060 ko has compute performance rivaling the 2070 due to using a 2080 die. ~300 usd, best bang for your buck for compute/rendering workloads

topics i need help on:

Spoiler

my "oops i bought intel right before zen 3 releases" build

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 (placeholder)

GPU: Gigabyte 980ti Xtreme (also placeholder), deshroud w/ generic 1200rpm 120mm fans x2, stock bios 130% power, no voltage offset: +70 core +400 mem

You can render on an nVidia 8800 GT, if you're patient enough 🤪

But until we know your budget, it'll be hard to suggest something

For the GPU alone, or for the entire system?

i think the old 1080's are probably cheap enough these days and would be decent

i was thinking of 1080ti but heard 2ndhand rumours about its threshold problem
