i5-8600k paired with MSI RTX 2070 causing bottleneck

I have recently bought an MSI RTX 2070 Armor 8gb GPU for my system because the graphics card I had before performed poorly compared to my i5-8600k. On the majority of the games I have played on I am able to run Ultra Settings with stable fps never dropping below nor near 60 fps. However when playing Modern Warfare Warzone it seems like my CPU is becoming the bottleneck of my system. I have the game set to it's highest settings possible, including having Directx Raytracing on but my GPU usage only will hit 14% while my CPU bounces between 70%-100%. When my cpu hits that 100% for either a brief second or a few seconds, it will cause my game to stutter even when its not below 60fps. The issue happens quite often in a single game to the point where it has become annoying. I read that overclocking your Cpu could give you better performance and possibly stop the stuttering so I overclocked my CPU to 5Ghz temporarily to see if it would fix my issue however it still stutters as when its not overclocked,  I am unsure what to do as everyone says that the i5-8600k processor is one of the best for its prices considering the capabilities it has to be paired with some of better GPU's. I have tried researching a fix for this but the only thing I seem to come up with are tacky youtube videos that tell you to install some program that makes your computer focus less on the background applications and more on the game itself, however I don't want to do that because I feel like I don't need to with the parts I currently have.

Here are my computer specs:

Cpu: i5-8600k

Graphics Card- MSI RTX 2070 Armor 8gb

Motherboard- MSI z370-A Pro

RAM: Corsair Vengance 3200 16gb

SSD: 222Gb

My harddrive is the hard drive my computer came with when I bought it, which was six years ago, I have some type of feeling that maybe that has something to do with my high CPU usage cause that's where the game is stored.

Concluding this post, I understand that warzone is a more intensive game which is why the CPU usage is so high causing my game to stutter unlike the other games I play but I am hoping that someone else is more knowledgeable on this topic than me and possibly has a solution for my issue.

Close background tasks before entering the game, also what is the CPU usage on idle?

dont check cpu usage from task manager cuz for me on modern warfare it says its using only 15% of my gpu

other than capping ur fps there's no solution, 8600k isn't enough to run MW, it hits 100% on quite a few games.

No way its only using that much of the gpu. Need an actual program to see its usage. Also need to check per core usage of the cpu.

No reason that cpu cant handle it when I use a 4770k with a 1080 and still game to normal people standards.

Shouldnt be having any ray tracing stuff on with a mid range rig, especially if you want frames and smooth gmaeplay.

Id recommend going to an ssd if not already, but doesnt sound like it.

man 2021 and i have the same config just mobo z390 a pro and 3600mhz aorus rgb ram cl18!!!! my case is similar and even worse 100% cpu usage then dev errors on top of all that. i just think an upgrade to 9900k is what will save us bro

I upgraded my wife's i7-8700 to an i9-9900K when we spotted it on sale on Amazon a few months ago. Was only $289.

It worked out, gave my son the i7-8700, my daughter the i5-9400, and retired the i3-8350k

IDK how the MSI Z390 A-Pro will handle a 9900k though. That looks like a 4 + 2 phase without doublers or even doubled components.

The Gigabyte Z390M Gaming has a 10+2 VRM (doubled 5 phase) and it handles the 9900k at stock values okay at least.
