New pc do i need to reformat?

Sooo i just sold my old pc parts its intel im going to switch to amd so motherboard ram and processor will be changed to newer ones so do i need to wipe my hdd ? or i can make my file stay the way it was before without causing error or something bad ?

If it is indeed a HDD then the BEST thing to do would be to get an SSD and install Windows on that, then recover everything you need from the HDD at your leisure.  Then format the HDD once you're done and use it for games that don't benefit from an SSD so much.
