NEW PC Builder PLS HELP!

Hey guys! this is my first post here.

I have a system which i currently use that is from the 2013 era fx6300, asus M5A78LM USB3. Finally thought its time to upgrade to an ssd. 

 

My question is that what will happen to my pre existing data on my hdd if i did a fresh install [assuming i unplug it from the system while installing win 10 and then plugging it back in] of win 10 on a new ssd and then connect it back? will it remain or what? i'd think that it wouldnt be affected because i didnt have the hdd plugged in whilst doing the win 10 install

it will remain then you will have a dual boot
