DA+/AMP for DT 990 EDITION (32 OHM)

As the title says, I'm looking for a DAC, AMP combo for the headphones.

My main goal is to get "best" sound possible from the cans. (I know best is subjective).

I'm planning to maybe spend 100-200$

Honestly the dac amp gain won't be high until you upgrade the impedance on those headphones. The 32 ohm can be properly driven with a phone and a dac amp won't make too.much of a difference. The higher impedance 250 and especially the 600ohm Beyers sound better and have more of a potential in scaling with amps and dacs.

And even the 250Ohm can be driven by onboard audio.

Take a look at this thread and then come back if you still want/need a combo.

Can be but not very loud needs a bit more power than most onboard assuming my current motherboard is like most onboard  solutions

32 ohm should be taken only for devices like iphones , mobiles devices and so

well so if you took it .. does it mean your source is your mobile phone? it is quite important here so you listen music not on desk (mobile)?

80 ohms was a better choice for amp to buy

You don't need an amp. A better dac could be benefitial. Like a dac/amp combo could be good. ifi zen dac is a good one.

Hey guys so I tested out the headphones with my laptop and my motherboard output(ALC 1220 with AMP) and with the zen dac

honestly the best hearing experience was on the ALC1220 with the power output set to ultimate and a little tweaks on nahimic.
