What GPU should I use?

What's a good cheap CPU cooler? What's the best budget RAM? What's the best budget SSD storage? any recommended peripherals? How would I figure out what motherboard is compatible with which CPUs (whoops that was originally a typo)?

Budget: less than $1000 CAD

I think the best cheap CPU cooler is the snowman quad heatpipe. It's a lot of cooler for £15. It's basically a Hyper 212 with more aluminium and for £5 less. The best budget RAM is the cheapest stuff you can find in your locale above 3000mhz. The razer basilisk is pretty nice, try a mechanical keyboard. Motherboards don't usually interface with one another physically, but you can figure out which CPU is compatable with a motherboard by looking at the socket the CPU is meant for, and what socket the mobo has.

Yeah, it's pretty good. Wait, the 212 is 35 USD? So the snowman is almost 20 USD less then.

I've seen the Snowman on Tech Yes City and it actually does a really good job for the price

That's a pretty solid pick for gaming.

Just some notes:

- If I were in your position I'd pick a cheaper 80+ Bronze PSU. Save a couple of bucks. The seasonic S12III is a slightly older design, but it's a good design made by a proven maker. I would go for a 500W unit.

-When you buy windows 10, buy a W10 Pro key off eBay for around £4. No sense paying full price for an OS.

-Here's the link for a snowman.

It's a chinese cooler, so order it and it'll turn up by the time you forget about it. It's probably the best value cooler out there, and more than enough for a 3600.

For bulk storage hard drives are great. For your OS, not so much.

It's a dual mag amp. Not something I would use for a modern gaming system.

The CX450M would be a nice cost-cut, though.
