Steelseries arctis 3 sounds like garbage on bluetooth

Basically the title says it all. The moment the microphone needs to be used the sound quality goes to absolute crap mode and it's just not usable. This headset was bought to be used with a pc but unless you use cable it just doesn't work as a headset just as a pair of headphones which it was not bought for. 3 different Bluetooth adapters, 4 devices later and on a xioami 9t it works well as you'd expect but on my xiaomi 9t literally the same damn phone it sounds like crap too once the mic activates.

Anyone got some advice?

Dont use the mic! Boom. Solved.

Probably best to return it.

That's just how bluetooth works, as soon as you want to use the mic it switches to "phone" mode audio.

If you want a wireless headset with mic and good audio you need one with a dedicated wireless dongle. That's why I bought a G935, was using my Bose BT headset before but got annoyed by that limitation when playing games and having Discord to talk to friends.
