My First Attempt To Build A Pc

So this was my first attempt to build a Computer i have tinkered around for a bit so here is what i got so far

 

Specs 

MOBO: ASUS P8z77-v Pro

CPU: Intel i5-2500k

RAM: 4x4GB DDR3 1600 Kingston Hyper

Cpu Cooler : H100i w/ 6 Coarsair 120mm Fans ( 4 AF120 ) ( 2 Regular )

GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti

PSU: 750 Watt

HDD: 500GB 

 

I have upload some Photos as you can see how i kinda did the build i am having a lot of trouble with cable management i would like your input all the information could help.

i would remove the 2 fans that come stock and also i think the sp series would have been better for this, but the system looks fine (minus cable management) the parts look good for a first rig.

Wow man... That is an absolute mess! 
Specs are good, but one BIG question... Do you have multiple fans stacked on the H100? You will gain absolutely nothing from having it like that... The H100 should have MAXIMUM 4 fans on it... It's just pointless and makes more noise...

What case is it? Does it have room behind the motherboard to route cables?

i would remove the 2 fans that come stock and also i think the sp series would have been better for this, but the system looks fine (minus cable management) the parts look good for a first rig. 

 

Ok yes fans are a big problem as their was no room in the case i put the them on to i was trying for push extreme pull ( 2 fans at the bottom pushing and 4 fans on top pulling ) right know my temps are idle on Speedfan between 20c - 25c

I do have another question i would like to Paint the Case again as i did it wrong does anyone have any Tips on painting square tubing

Well I'd start by routing ALL of those cables behind the mobo. I'd also recommend bundling up excess or unused cables to hide them away in nooks a bit easier...

And really all of those fans are not going to help at all... Your case is pretty much all ventilation so it will passively be cool enough...

ok question should i be using a fan controller with the fans or use corsair link and would it be a good idea to get a modular PSU instead of this one 

( tomorrow i will try to re do all the cables and i will post another picture )

I personally don't have a fan controller, but if you really want to have a ton of control over fan speed and noise it'd be good I guess. But I think for you by the looks of it just just Corsair link. 

You should be fine without a modular PSU if you take a lot of time and care into your management... I don't have a modular and my build is neat enough

ok i have re did my computer here is the pictures  i decided to take out fan controller and put the HDD vertical i had to put the 8 pin threw the front of the board the second to last and last picture is the mess behind it and somewhat int he front

Wow, that looks a lot better! Nice job.

First build I've seen in an Antec Lanboy. Nice job! However I'm not a big fan of the H100i being mounted on the exterior. Just my opinion.

yeah i know i was trying to find another place but i have seen the radiator in the front but their was no dvd drive or hdd .. i was thinking of making a shroud for around the top radiator going to the top fans and screws on i don't know still thinking about that

Just some food for thought, I don't know exactly the size of the room in the lanboy, but seeing as it is so flexible you should be able to mount a rad in the front, even on the side panel: http://youtu.be/Tgi2nNEb8XI

yeah i was lookinn at the front but were would i put the DVD drive and HDD and on the side i just couldn't open the door if it was on the side door

You can shuffle around the DVD and put it like as far up or down as you can, and the same with the HDD, jsut install them like back to back to open enough room for them. But would not opening the case be worth not having the Rad just chilling on the top? Haha These are all more things for you to tinker with and work on now :) Goodluck!

Ahhh why is it on a milk crate.... that is a good way to bump it and say hello to the floor, its not a motor bike.

 

But for your first build it looks decent, Work on the cables a bit more I know its a pain but totaly worth it in the end.

ok i am uploading pictures i have zapped them to the back of mobo tray in one of the pictures you cn see the side panel bulging a little bit comments please of anything different i should do 

​i might be re painting it soon any ideas how to paint it an d what kind of paint it is mostly all metal tubing
