Fan lights don't work

Hi, few weeks ago i bought a new hard drive. After i installed it, the lights on my 200 mm fan (MF200R RGB) stopped working, but it still spins. The fan is connected to psu. Any ideas on what caused this?

Where's the RGB connected to? Fan power and RGB power use different connectors.

How? You have some adapter or controller? PSUs don't have RGB connectors by default.

Sorry, made a mistake. RGB cable is connected to motherboard. I don't have a controller. There is this little adapter, that changes the lights, but it's only 6 or 7 colors.

Ok, have you checked that its tight? You might have knocked it loose while installing SATA cable. If the lights worked before, there's no other reason why they wouldn't work anymore.

I have tightened them all. Tried a lot of things. Nothing changed.
