CM TX3i vs Intel stock cooler

Lochy59

Hi guys, so my CPU has been getting kinda toasty lately, so I replaced the thermal paste but it doesnt seem to be getting much better. I also cleaned out the heatsink and fan. Not much better either. And I have this CoolerMaster TX3i laying around, but I'd have to buy the mounts for it. Is it worth it to buy the mounts (they're about 5 bucks), or should I go just for a new cooler?

some basic specs of my pc:

Intel Core i7 2600

ASUS DUAL-RX580-4GB

4x4gb @ 1333mhz

Get some used mounts. Even radiators filled with cat piss are better than the intel stock cooler
