What decision is right in your opinion?

Hello forum i would be very grateful if you could provide me with experience and knowledge, and this is the case:

My current build is quite old: i3-3220, 8gb ram, r9 270, 120gb ssd.

I would like to know if upgrading the CPU to a i7-3770 will make the pc compatible with a 144hz gameplay as i will use it only for CS:GO.

And also i guess i should upgrade the GPU as well, but have no idea to which gpu to upgrade.

yes the cpu upgrade and the gpu upgrade will give you massive fps boost is CSGO. try to find used i7 3770k's. for the gpu rx 570/580 used is the best bet.

Well, as i currently don't have the PC with me i can't really tell, but the PSU i think was 650w Be quiet.

What would you recommend on the nvidia side by the way?

well rx 580 or rx 570 are better bang for the buck. they are pretty much gtx 1060 6gb but with 8gb if vram

Is there a big difference between the 3770 and 3770K? I don't plan on overclocking, but should I?

Depends on the region, I have rather recently gotten 1060 3GB for $10 USD less than I could get a 580 4GB (that was for a family build) and found 1060 6GB for ~$15 lower than the 580. Generally speaking though they go for about the same price and perform about the same.

~15% (when OCed) but only if you have a Z series MOBO and a good cooler, otherwise virtually none

you should overclock it wiul give you mucm more fps in games.

Is a combination of Asus p8z68-v pro/gen3 and an i7-3770k good enough? In my country this exact combination(used) goes for around 150$, and is it worth it?

well rx 580 is on 1060 6gb level and rx 570 is on 1060 3gb level.

No..... In most titles the when comparing the 1050ti  and the 1060 3GB the 570 sits about 2/3 of the way towards the 1060 3GB but there is still a very measurable difference between the 1060 3GB and the 570 the 1060 3GB is most comparable to the 580 4GB.

The difference is smaller than that, because the 3770 can already be overclocked to 4.3GHz. The 3770K will only go a little higher, typically around 4.5GHz.

I would like to ask u as well if it would be a better option to invest some extra money, and actually get a gtx1060, but with a Ryzen 5 1600 and 16gb RAM?

For the Ryzen you'd need a motherboard, too.

 

And if looking at the 1600, get an 3100 or 3300X instead.

I think i'll stick with saving a bit more, and then deciding what to exactly build!
