Does it matter what Bluetooth dongle I get?

I'm obviously going to be tossing a Bluetooth receiver into my system so I can use play the games I'm more comfortable with with a wireless controller rather than my potato wired one, im 99 percent sure it doesn't really matter Wich one I get, but I just wanted to get a second opinion, so does it even matter how I add Bluetooth?

If it's absolutely trash tier then you might have range and reliability problems, few dongles are that bad anymore though. Many wireless controllers come with their own receiver though.

Ok, I only ask since my Xbox controller uses Bluetooth and my Mobo doesn't seem to have it built in
