1080p content on 4k display

Guest

Does 1080p content (e.g. games) look worse on a 4k screen than on a Full HD monitor? 4k has exactly 4 times as many pixels, so upscaling should be a non-issue, right?

Running 1080p content on a display with quadruple the pixels is going to look worse. It doesn't magically alter the image to look good

it doesn't work like that, and 1080p games on a 4K monitor do look garbage.
