Reliable Or Not - EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 80+ GOLD

i was just wondering guys if the EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 80+ GOLD is reliable and long lasting because on NewEgg and Amazon there were a lot of people saying that it died the first 6 months so i don't want to waste $250 on a power supply for nothing

Yes, it's def one of the best psus out there.
The 10 year warranty is just gravy on top.

But before I recommend it, what's your specs ? you could very likely go with something much more modest.
I've had the 750w version for over 5 years 24/7 and there's def no issues whatsoever.

Yeah (also, please use the quote button so I can see your replies) You'd def want at least the 1000w G2.

That is, if you want to opt for the 1300 that's also fine, but the 1000 would be sufficient. Your entire system is evaluated at just over 700w

With other accesories, I woudn't risk getting aqn 850 if you want to do overclocking and fully use your pc.

Its reliable, but its a singlerail, so not really preffered at higher wattages.

And if you are spending 200$ on a PSU. There are better options. Or cheaper options.

and to follow up one what id look at these instead

they are far better, and are based on the Delta GM plattform,

and you really dont need more than 850w for your config. and id also just point out that i hope you know what you are getting yourself into with SLI, or you are doing some workload that benefits from it.
