problem with youtube

hi,

 

ok, so I am a subscriber of the youtube channel and clicked the bell icon to get updates; but this is where the problem is - I am not getting informed of new content on the main ltt channel. techlinked is ok. any ideas?

Doesn't it show up in your subscriptions feed? Or in the suggestions feed?

I don't think I've ever NOT seen a new LTT video in my feeds, and I don't even use the bell, I just subscribe.

both. it used to appear; then stopped before Christmas, First thought its OK because they took Xmas off but no.

Keep in mind you have (nowadays) a couple of different sort of bells. Ensure you have the top one.

If it's controversial content, YouTube has been known to suppress notifications and placement of videos in sub feeds for those channels.

I wonder if that is location dependent? There are few controversial topics in my part of the world (from an advertiser's perspective), and I've never found that "controversial" videos have been suppressed for me.
