Will the Z390A PRO Work perfectly with the i9 9700k?

Will it work? Yes.

Will it work perfectly? No.

This board is meant for lower end CPU's, up to i5 CPU's (not oveclocking). So in my mind that is not a level of board for an i7 9700K (just to address your title.. i7 9700K, right? As you have 'i9 9700K' in the title).

I would rather suggest a Z390 Aorus Elite (if you truly want to go Intel and not 3700X.. *cough*)
