MSI GP63 Leopard-013 wont display 120hz

my friend bought this laptop and it wont let him change his display to 120hz. its not using his 1060 for his display but his integrated graphics and it wont let him go above 60hz. is there anyway he can fix this

Check with device manager instead of reading the description

monitors>generic pnp>details tab>under property select 'hardware IDs'
