I wanna build my first pc but I’m on a tight budget of $500 and not sure what to get I’m new to pc build and specs in general for PCs. I’m looking to run world of tanks, world of war ships and heavily modded Minecraft. Any help with picking stuff for this build would be great I would like to run an AMD cpu

may we know where abouts you live (the currency you are using) as that will help a lot, 500 usd is a lot more than 500 aud

If you are willing to go used, pickup a used Ryzen 1600 or 2600 and an RX 580.

this is also another option that you could go with as mincraft mods can tax the cpu quite hard

was going to say you swopped in with the victory but i do believe he will make more use from 16gb of ram, as he could run stuff in the back ground, minecraft mods on top (some have weird ram usages). personally i wouldnt recommend 8gb in a build in late 2019, even if it needs to go back a little on storage (not sure about adding ram but adding a hdd later to me seems easier)

yeah, it's really between ram and storage. i guess it makes sense to go for 16gb ram and 240gb storage and then get a 1tb hdd later.
