Black Friday Router Help

During black Friday there were some routers that was on sale. I'm thinking about the Netgear Nighthawk AX3000 (model RAX35) and the Netgear Nighthawk AC2600 (model R7400).

 

RAX35 = 100 bucks

R7400 = 90 bucks

 

I'll drop the links below but which router is the better one? Ive read up on some of these but was hoping someone can shed some light between the two. Reviews weren't the greatest...... My buddy ran tests on these and they were 'meh' at best; the r7400 had better pings compared to the RAX35....... 23 to 20. 

 

If you guys had to choose. which one????
